"not for your f*cking pleasure" is a multimedia sculpture confronting the objectification of women’s bodies and the cycle of violence rooted in this perspective. the piece merges a chair—symbolizing how women are often reduced to objects for comfort or utility—with a plaster cast of my body, capturing personal and collective trauma. beneath the chair hangs a cyanotype fabric collage of self-portraits, these images reject the gaze that reduces my body to something consumable, reclaiming it on my own terms. this piece is a declaration of my autonomy, self-worth, and wholeness—a rejection of societal expectations that define women’s bodies as objects for pleasure.
