alexxis is a visual artist, from the san fernando valley. her artistic journey ventures into the realms of love, identity, and family, as she engages in documentation and storytelling using photography, video, archives, sculpture and mixed-media. gonzalez delves into the therapeutic dimensions of art, sharing the stories of others and her own personal experiences.
gonzalez worked on a multimedia project that centered on the experiences of violence as a woman. violence project, conceived as an art project, and evolved into providing spaces to share experiences and find healing through art.
gonzalez is also a co-founder + director of communication and media for @i.am healin, where they provides spaces for healing through art, sound, and connection.
